In-person gatherings (“events”) on university property, as well as off-campus gatherings that relate to university business or are paid for using university funds must be registered with the Special Event Registry in advance.
Keep in mind if you pay with your own credit card and submit for reimbursement, you will get the funds reimbursed post event either via direct deposit (if you are an ASU employee, such as a teaching assisant) or via mailed check (if you are not an ASU employee). The university can only mail a check to the address on file in your student record.
